Taste of Carrollton this Thursday, 09/20/12, at Adamson Square

Visit us for Taste of Carrollton, Sept 20th 2012

Taste of Carrollton this Thursday, 09/20/12, at Adamson Square

- from the Main Street Carrollton Facebook page

Fall- the time of year where colored leaves, crisp air, and college football fill your heart and calm you down from all that summer heat. Personally, we get ready for our favorite meal of the whole year- the Taste of Carrollton. This year’s event will take place on Thursday, September 20th from 5:30-8pm, and features the area’s BEST in local dining.

If you have never been to our Taste of Carrollton event before, then let us break it down for you. Local restaurants are invited to come out and showcase bite-size portions of their favorite menu items for you to enjoy. We sell you tickets and you exchange them with the restaurants for these small servings. The tickets cost one dollar a piece and most servings cost about 1-2 tickets, therefore, 10-15 tickets per person should more than fill you up. All proceeds go to support the Main Street Program which puts money back into the community through different grants and beautification projects. Through money raised at this event we have been able to fund projects such as new “Historic Downtown” signs throughout Carrollton, New Directional Signs in the Downtown and the installation of commercial grade LED lights on the downtown buildings for the holiday season. So come fill your belly, delight your taste buds, and show support for your local downtown community.
